Terms of Use

Users of the LTO Online Appointment and Scheduling System (the "System") can secure appointments for Motor Vehicle Renewal Registration and Driver’s License Renewal transactions.

This System reserves slots for the users on a first-come, first-served basis. Intentional and multiple attempts by the user to book several dates are detrimental to public service. Users who are identified abusing the System shall automatically be blacklisted by the LTO from creating online appointments.

By using the System, the user accepts the responsibility of providing and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of his/her personal information. The user also consents to the collection and use of his/her personal information in accordance with LTO’s mandate under Republic Act No. 4136, otherwise known as the "Land Transportation and Traffic Code", as amended, and Republic Act No. 8792, otherwise known as the "Electronic Commerce Act".

Our Mandate and Role

In compliance with the Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the "Data Privacy Act of 2012", LTO seeks your consent to collect and use your personal information as part of the requirements of the System.

Personal information collected by the System will be used by personnel authorized by the LTO in connection with Motor Vehicle Registration and Driver’s License Renewal transactions.

The personal information collected will then be retained by the LTO only for such period as necessary to serve the purpose for which it was collected, or as required under applicable law. Thereafter, the personal information shall be disposed in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access, or disclosure to any other party.

We are committed to ensure the privacy and security of your personal information. Nevertheless, there is no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage will guarantee full security. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of personal information, we will implement physical, technical, and organizational measures and procedures to safeguard your personal information.

We will not disclose any personal information obtained in the conduct of its mandate, except as provided herein, subject to the provisions and exemptions of the Data Privacy Act. Further, we guarantee that information that can be identified with you will remain confidential and will be disclosed only with your permission or as required by law.

Your Role

1. Ensure that the information you provide in the online form is complete and accurate.
2. Provide an active e-mail account and check all of your e-mail folders (including Spam or Junk mail folders) for the confirmation e-mail of your scheduled appointment. The delivery of the confirmation email might take time depending on the network traffic.
3. If you think your personal information was mishandled in terms of confidentiality or integrity, or if someone tampered with your personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately.
